Sunny Spread

This is known as the Sunny Spread. It is a beautiful blanket and once it is done, it will be a warm and cozy blanket.

Each individual square is started in a circle and then created in a square.

16 are sewn together in an individual box.

Here is a bigger shot of the the 16.

Once you have four squares of sixteen (which are not shown here) you want to sew the four lager squares together. I am still working on it but once I finish it, I will edit this and show the final product.

Little Brother Blanket Part Deux

So I had posted on here before about making a blanket for my brother for his tenth birthday....Needless to say that I was not able to complete it because of getting sick and I didn't get to finish it for him for his birthday this month. However, I am now on the verge of completing it now and he will get it for Christmas.

Each individual triangle is made and each individual square is made before sewing them together. The colors are rotating to give it more dynamic. They will later be outlined in black and then later sewn together.

It has taken me awhile but I believe it is going to be amazing blanket

Baby Cozy

This is one of the first baby clothes that I have made. Normally, I only do blankets, hats, scarves, and mittens, but I figured that it was time to expand my pallet. I created this for one of my dear friends for her first baby girl. Ms. Mackenzie was born on September 19th and she is such a cutie.

The baby cozy is something used for newborns that have trouble being out of the womb. There is also a little matching hat that goes with it. It is crocheted in a soft peach pink and had red rose buds and green leaves. It is so pretty and looks even more pretty with the little girl inside of it.  If anyone would like the pattern that was used. Please leave a comment at the bottom and I will contact you with the pattern.

Here is the full body view of Ms. Mackenzie in her baby cozy. She is such an adorable little girl. And such a good subject to take pictures of.

And here is a picture that gives a close up of the hat.

A special thanks to Ashley Marie Photography (her momma) for taking the pictures of Ms. Mackenzie.

If anyone would like to set up a appointment with Ms. Ashley Marie for a sitting, please go to http://www.facebook.com/pages/Ashley-Marie-Photography/187908957900923 and like her page. She is a great photographer and has extensive background in photography.

A long time gone...

So it has been about a year since I had last posted something on this blog...basically due to illness, a death in the family, and being out of work. But now, it is a new time and I have been working on a lot of projects and a lot of them are coming to a finish which will be good. I have worked on many projects and if anyone needs patterns just let me know.
