A few pieces

Hello Everyone,

So I have a few pieces that I am working on that I would like to share with you and get your thoughts and opinions. Take in mind, that I usually have like five or six projects going on at once because honestly, I get bored with all the repetition sometimes.

My first project is my attempt in making a big, fluffy unicorn for one of my girls that I nanny. She is totally in love with the minions from Despicable Me and often reminds me of Agnes (kind of looks like her too). She's two and she's at the stage where she mimics sounds that she hears, especially when the minions go "bee boo bee boo bee boo" and runs all over the house acting like a nut.

My second project is that Peppermint Puff Baby Blanket which I have finished. This was a quick and easy project to put together relatively fast. My daughter uses it to scoot around the kitchen because she has not mastered the art of crawling yet.

My third project that I am working on is for my daughter's god mother. I haven't asked her to be the godmother yet but I am going to once the blanket is finished. Almost like a bribe in a way ;-). It's a beautiful emerald and purple color. I started with granny squares in the center and then worked one side going one way, and now I am working on the other side going the other way.

This is just one of the squares that I used for the center to show the colors. I don't want to put the whole thing just in case she reads the blog and sees her gift. lol.

The fourth project that I have going is the African Flower Blanket. It is all vibrant tropical colors and I love how it is coming out so far. I am going to outline it in black that way the colors pop even more. It is going to be one hell of a blanket.

Promises Promises Promises

I feel horrible with the fact that I haven't kept my promise about posting at least every week. I honestly thought that I would be able to keep up with it and I honestly have not been able to. It has been quite stressful with a new baby and finding out we're going to have another one in July. But don't worry I have been keeping up on crocheting though. It is the only thing that has been keeping me somewhat sane. I have a lot of blankets that I have been working on and they have been coming out amazing. It makes me feel so accomplished to get something done with so little time. I told my husband that I need to take the time to do things that I want to do, even if it means publishing a post of what I am working on to anyone in the world to read. So I post for all of you in hopes that you out there are reading these and getting ideas of creations that you can make.

Happy Creations Everyone!

Remember you're only a loop, swoop, and pull from your own miraculous creations.
